District Federal does not do anything by half, from traveling half way around the world to find an authentic Mexican chef, to hand crafting tortillas the traditional way these guys mean business.
Amazing food is a given coupled that with live Latino music every weekend, some banging DJ’s, and that eat well, then get up and dance till you drop attitude makes DF one of the best venues in town.
Chilangos has been opened for just over 2 years, and is a huge favorite among locals and expats alike for that true Mexican style street food.
Owned and run by Luis Boija jr and his wonderful partner, the food leaps of the plate in colour and smell, the restaurant is a god send for those who want that Mexico city taste of heaven!
Hidden underneath a bridge in the south of the city you’ll come across one of the funkiest Mexicans in town.
Whilst it is a street style venue being all outside, the mix of location, neat artwork and amazing food put together by Adrian chong yen (Soul Kitchen Fame) makes this one of those venues that is a bit of a must visit!

Taco Fuego popped up a couple of years ago in Saigon and is located in one of our favorite bar spots in town, Ward 19.
Its Californian style of Mexican brings us super light and fresh tasting taco’s a nice specials list and recently even tater tots made an appearance.
Our go to dish has to be the BIRRIA BEEF TACO, which is really next level stuff!

Bandidos popped up in 2019 and has been a mainstay for those with a penchant for taco’s and a lighter Mexican flavor. Whilst the menu is loaded with classics , the mix of quick food, great drinks and a lively weekend crowd makes this up market taqueria and great place for groups and couples alike!
Tippy’s Mexican food has been a staple Burrito shop for anyone living in the city.
It’s two shops (District 2 and District 4) have been smashing out that Arizonan / style of Mexican for years. Both shops are pretty compact, but outdoor spaces, live music and some good craft beer on tap, makes it a fun venue when you need to get your Mexican fix on.
With Rock star looks and a background in fine dining, El Camino’s owner Bui or Calvin to his friends has been smashing out what he calls Korean style taco’s in Thao dien and d7.
The menu is seriously well thought out, a great selection of craft beer and matched with old school hip hop makes it a great place to kick back and enjoy.
The venue is more street style then fine dining, but a vibey crowd gives the place a unique feel.
